Hi!!!
I am new to this forum and a few days ago I've been searching for information about if possible the following scenario:
It's a crazy idea to have a 2.3 CICS remotely accessing a TS with bases DL / I 1.12?

Sergio,
CICS 2.3? Are you a VSE shop?
Or do you mean this is a CICS/TS 2.3 (z/OS) shop?
What do you mean when you speak about TS and then DL/I? These are two different subjects. |

Hi Bill.
Yes we have running VSE under VM.
We need to upgrade to DL / I 1.12, but our core application runs under VSE and CICS 2.3, then the idea is to connect our old CICS 2.3 with a TS with DL/I 1.12 running in other VSE.

Sergio,
I believe it would be wise for your management to contact IBM regarding these compatibility issues. I would not want to provide you with information which may not be 100% correct.
