I am attempting to include the Long File Name in reports generated by DMBATCH.
Below is an example of what I am finding in the report now:
Dsn=>/appdata/CDF/PRD/data/cdf_prd/serial/CIS/daily/landing/cis.chktc)
Below is what i am looking for if possible, I found this in a file extract but can't find who in the company produces it and it only has the previous day activities:
Function => LONG FILE NAME Start Time => 02:45:45
Long Destination File Name:
/appdata/CDF/PRD/data/cdf_prd/serial/CIS/daily/landing/cis.chktccdf.ln_daily.ebc
These are the parameters:
SIGNON TMPDD=DMTMPDSN
SEL STAT WHERE (STARTT=(03/31/2013,00:00:00) -
STOPT=(TODAY,24:00:00) -
TYPE=(FI) -
(FNAME=PRDHK.*)) TABLE
SIGNOFF
I searched through IBM Sterling Connect:Direct for z/OS User Guide Version 5.1.1, all I can find related to Long File Name is the parameter TYPE(FI) but that produces an empty file.
FI = Long File Name Record |

Thanks everyone for reading my request.
I ran this about a zillion times with different combination of parameters and anytime that I include (FNAME=PRDHK.*) it seems to return less data with the TABLE & FILE options.
I was able to get the Long File Name when I leave out (FNAME=PRDHK.*) parameter. |
