Hi,
I'm in a new shop where for all the other elements like copy, jcl and procs have a PROD library being mapped to check for the PROD versions.
The COBOL programs doesnt have any PROD library being mapped. ENDEVOR is version controlled tool in our shop.
So is there any way to find the COBOL programs' PDS library for the PROD.
I tried the option for to search thru TSO ISRDDN and couldnt find any of the PDS listings for the COBOL programs.
I could find the LOAD and DBRM for PROD versions.
Please could you help me in this regrads. |

The best and maybe only way to find your IT shops Production PDS COBOL programs is to ask someone in your IT shop. |

Endevor is customized at each site, and frequently there will be more than one Endevor set up at a site (for each application or development group or ...). Only someone working at your site could possibly tell you the answers you seek. |

ISRDDN is a utility that provides a list of allocated DD names to your TSO session, a list of system ENQs, a list of data sets causing system ENQ contention, and a means of viewing storage within a TSO user's address space. So, I believe, it should NOT be the 'tool' of choice for what you're looking for.
The best suggestion is ask your support/co-worker. However, if you're curious -
1. Go to the spool and look for some executed Job from Prod, look for SYSMSG and see if can you find expanded name for some libraries. If you get lucky, perhaps that can be a starting point.
2. I do not use ENDEVOR but in Change-Man (another version control tool), you can see the sites mapped to specific libraries and there you can pick the name from. Possibly, ENDEVOR also have some similar option available...but this is pure speculation. |

That's a very vague suggestion from my end but I had been to the situations you are describing and can relate to that. At times, it helped and other time I fall flat on my face. Good Luck! |
