Hi,

I need help on setting up highest acceptable return code for one of my jobs. If it fails with S222 i.e. if operator cancels job, it should not be trapped in TWSOPC error list.
I am aware of highest return code field but I need conditional suppress as stated above to exclude it from error list only if it fails with S222.

Can anyone pls help me to achive this either through OPC or REXX or any other means.

Regards,
RK

I'm not sure what exactly you're asking for or as I'm not an OPC user so possibly I got it wrong, however - by this

did you mean that S322 should be treated as some high Return Code?

Hi Anuj,

Thanks. I want this job not to be treated as an error if it fails with S222. If it is failing with any other (it could be S333 or 004) return code, it should be treated as failure and should be trapped in OPC.

In OPC, if I set 'Highest return code' as 004 then any return code >4 will be treated as failure to trap it in error list. However, I want conditional supress only for S222 abend.

Regards,
RK

What you want can only be done by the initializing parameters of TWS (the NOERROR parameter). You will need a very very good reason for the TWS support people to implement something like that.

Thanks Peter. I tried searching for NOERROR. Need to understand, where I can see NOERROR table content (any display/modify command etc).
