Hello,

While transferring the file in EBCDIC format from z/os to Unix server in UTF-8 format using GFT, the special characters or diacritics are not getting transferred correctly to the destination.

I am using the below FTP command for conversion to UTF-8
SBDATACONN=(IBM-1140,ISO8859-1).

Can you please provide what should be the command or the solution for the problem?

Thanks Kunal

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/zos/v1r12/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.zos.r12.halz001%2Fsbdata.htm

investigate with Your support what are the proper codepages table to use for Your environment.
we do not belong to Your organization so we cannot tell.
