READ OPERATION OF MQ (MESSAGE QUEUE)

Hi all,

I am trying to do a PL/I program which receives the messages from a MQ (MESSAGE QUEUE) and writes into a PS file.

I am completely new to the MQ topic that I don't know how to create an MQ also.

Could anyone help me on learning to perform those operations ?

I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum.
Any help would be appreciated.

Presumably you are not the first person to write a PL/1 MQ program in your organisation so find another program and copy from that. Find the author of that program and quiz them. See if they have a document relating to your organisation on how to do it to the required standards. Read the manuals/redbook. When I wrote my one and only PL/1 MQ program I did all those things.

Make a note of what you have to do so that you have a reference for the next time or if someone else needs help for the same thing.
