Hello all!

I need to use z/OS-DB2-ODBC to move data from a DB2 table (in z/OS) to other plataforms.

I tried to read the manual "DB2 10 for z/OS ODBC Guide and Reference" (SC19-2980-03) to learn how to do that, but was unable to understand it.
I'm an end user of DB2, with some experience with SQL, but I'm not a DB2 expert.

Does anybody knows a simpler way (tutorial/documentation) to learn how to use z/OS-DB2-ODBC ??

looks like You have put things in the wrong perspective

it will be an application on the other platform which will <pull> the data from DB2

not a zOS application

googling with EXCEL ODBC DB2 will return quite a few useful links

How many places do you intend to post this same basic question?

This is being locked.

The reply given here and in the other posting are basically the same - it is not a mainframe issue.
