Hi,
When DB2 loadlibs are specified along with the application load lib in JOBLIB then the step with ADUUMAIN fails with error 'NOT APF AUTHORIZED'.
When only DB2 loadlibs are specified in the JOBLIB then the ADUUMAIN step runs fine.
Is it that we can't use APF unathorized libs in the JOBLIB when using ADUUMAIN utility ?
Please help as we have over 350 steps where we are planning to use ADUUMAIN.
Thanks,
Ranjit |

Whether or not ADUUMAIN must run APF-authorized depends upon the software -- you would need to check the documentation or consult the vendor to find out for sure.
However, it is a truth that concatenating an application load library to an APF-authorized library makes all the load libraries in the concatenation NOT APF-authorized. So if ADUUMAIN must be APF-authorized, you cannot put the application load library in the concatenation (unless you make it APF-authorized).
Would you not want to put the ADUUMAIN library in the linklist so it is not needed in the JOBLIB or STEPLIB? |
