Another source of income for mainframe specialists

Hi

Members of this forum may be interested to hear - or be reminded - of another potential source of income for mainframe specialists - that is, by writing technical articles for Xephon's mainframe-related journals.

The pay is good, and it's not as difficult as you might imagine - many articles consist of code with a few explanatory comments, and others are based on pre-existing material (technical memos, reports, checklists, etc). You don't need a polished prose style - we will make any editorial changes necessary to make your article look good in print.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with Xephon's journals: our main one is MVS Update, covering all aspects of OS/390 and z/OS, and there are separate ones on CICS, DB2, MQSeries, RACF, and enterprise networking (TCP and SNA).

Hi Chris,

I had sent an article for publishing 2-3 days back to MVS Update editor's mail id as well as info@xephon.com but didn't got any immediate reply as mentioned in the nfc.pdf.

Is there any change in the mail id or response takes time ?

Just got a query after going through the site.There are some articles which we finds very useful to the readers, like articles on DB2, which is already published in some magazines.Can we include such articles also.
