In our environment we have a large number of print outputs every day( about 30000). When you do $PERFDATA(CPUSTAT) you see PCENAME=SPI CPU%=98.34 IOCOUNT=862 CKPT_COUNT=76810
We are using external product for printing, that is using SAPI. How we can decrease CPU usage of JES2 SAPI? What are the tuning parameters? ( our MAS HOLD parameter is 50 and DORMANCY is (0,1000))

Maybe this www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=isg1OA33407 applies to your problem?

If not ask for support of the external product supplier.
