We are doing some experimentation with web services and the like. We've had success with using ICAL and sending out synchronous requests, where the call waits for a response. Now we want to do asynchronous, where is send the message and does NOT wait for a response.
I have the sample program in hand, and I see that it's a CHNG call, followed by an insert to the Alternate PCB.
Now, the ICAL uses a different set of queues, so the 32K limit does not apply. You can send a huge message. However, I don't see anything about that for the special case of the ISRT to an OTMA destination.
Is the 32K limit still in effect for the ISRT? |
