Hello,

If you found an online way to do this in File Manager, suggest you re-implement in batch.

Most vsam files / indexes are defined multiple times and doing this online wastes time (and may cause an error / inconsistency).

that's the nice thing about batch jobs.
they can be found and reused.

The TS could not locate the option, because the option is not there icon_cool.gif

this is one of my pet peeves ... ( too frequent on these forums )

how do I do some task using some tool
which IMHO implies that
the tool some tool has been chosen, after having evaluated all the alternatives
and having thoroughly explored the some tool capabilities

but maybe I am over optimistic, or I have a warped way icon_confused.gif

life goes on

Thinking is a tough job, perhaps that's why very few get indulged with it. If that much had been thought of, I doubt <complete the sentence>.
