Can anyone explain to me how the SEGSIZE affects the growth of a segmented tablespace.

According to docmuentation SEGSIZE value specifies the number of pages that are to be assigned to each segment of the table space. Can anyone refer me any documentation which explains this more in detail.

Any help will be appreciated.
