Yup, use it a lot. Found out about it in some forum somewhere - obviously not this one if you've only just found it, Dick! |

I know of that one, but followed the link to the manual anyway and learnt about the AK and BK line commands. I never knew they existed. |

that is super david. actually, that is why I left the link,
for the inquisitive self-learning types (such as yourself).
made my day. |

Thanks from me too.
When I find new commands I always wonder how many decades they've been there. |

AK and BK (and OK too) were introduced in z/OS 1.10, according to SHARE sessions 8674 & 8675
More goodies inside, like the SETUNDO KEEP, which already helped me a few times... |

This, z/OS Enhancements, somewhat outdated PDF, gives an overview of many new ISPF features.
One of the most useful ones for me is AUTOTYPE, which I've assigned to PF5 on the keylists for the EDIT (ISRSAB) and VIEW (ISRSABH) panels. Read what it does, try it, and think "Doug Nadel really was an ISPF genius"...
And of course Doug's other gem, ISREMSPY! |
