Hello Team,

I would like to have some basic inputs if there are COBOL compiler changes are supposed to happen then what all things required to be kept in mind?

Also, I know this is very generic question but sooner I will get the specific question I will update here but in any reference doc. related to this is available then it would be a great help.

The COBOL Language Reference manual has, near the front, a section called Summary of Changes that will identify what changed between the last release of the compiler (or the previous compiler) and the release covered by the manual.

For big changes, IBM publish Migration Guides. What are you going from/to?

Any given link might be useless until you post which compiler you are going FROM and which compiler you are going TO.

Hi Enrico,

Because the knowledge of where "stuff" or how to find it has not yet been learned . . .

It is easy to forget that what we (you and i and several others) have accumulated this knowledge over decades. . . icon_cool.gif
