Hi,

Kindly let me know if we can insert header after certain set of data records, say header after every 100 data records. Can we achieve this using JCL.

With JCL, no.

With some JCL which executes some program, yes.

Any particular program you'd like? SORT perhaps?

Yes through PGM we can achieve this, but I was interested to know if we can do this through JCL as well icon_sad.gif

the link is a recursive link ( points to itself )
because he TS makes the usual/common mistake around here to call anything that is not a user written program JCL

and we waste time explaining that JCL in se does nothing
and is just a way of telling the system what PROGRAM to execute and what DATASETs to use
