Hi, with SORT we can route output data to SORTOUT/SYSOUT instead of an output file so that we can look the same in spool. How to achieve the same in EASYTRIEVE?
Please help. |

If you're an authorised site, you can find this (as well as all things EASYTRIEVE) in the licensed documentation. |

Hello,
When you code Easytrieve you specify the DDNAME for each file you use.
Your installation may use some "standard Easytrieve PROC" which also uses standard DDNAMES. Suggest you review your site standards as well as the product documentation. |

Well, no. SORT routes the data and messages where it wants although at time you can use alternate DDnames. What YOU can do is decide whether to send the output for a DDname to spool or file by the use of JCL, either SYSOUT= or DSN= |

Hi Ramsri,
Can you please elaborate what data you want to display in spool ? Do you want to display message or output data in the spool ?
Thanks,
