I tried to upload an ODP file. It is similar to a PPT file which is supported. ODP is an Open Document format for Presentations.
1. ODP should be supported here. Likewise, ODT should be supported.
2. there was no obvious indication that it was not supported. It just did not upload. |

problems with PPT vs ODP,
xls vs OD(what ever),
and doc vs od? forget which.
is it the extension name or the file header info that makes the difference?
since all ODF (libra and OpenSource for sure and they are free....)
will also save as e.g. XLS with MS-Excell 07 or 06 header info)
might just want to write a script that inputs your ODP and outputs a PPT.
or you can figure out what needs to be tweeked in the upload application
to allow for ODP with same disposition as PPT. |

I am not sure if you were addressing this to me, but normally a system admin needs to figure out what needs to be tweeked. |

I was talking to Robert (Sample) lately and Hercules-configuration file, ".cnf" extension, was also not allowed.
A setting, perhaps, to avoid spams. |

That's essentially a .txt file, and the extension is somewhat irrelevant, you can start Hercules with "-ffloppy.ploppy" if you really want... |

Robert - Yes, that's correct and he used ".txt" to get it going.
Yup, I need to get it working, so that I can "browse" anything, anyone's data-sets on this-newly-installed-zOS"...
