Hi,
I have some 1000 jobs scheduled in my CA7 test region and now I want to change the first two bytes of all those jobs with the same schedule. Do we have any option to perform this master update or I have to do one by one? Please suggest.
Thanks,
Saravana S |

With all due respect I doubt if you posted in right forum
You wanted to change the job name or member name?
Also is your first two bytes same for all thousand or does it vary ? |

I want to change the job name in the scheduler also the scheduler should pick the job with the new name from the mapped PDS.
For Example, in current setup , Job AA123456 is running with the JCL
AA123456 from lib - MYPDS
now I want to change this to Job BB123456 should run with the JCL BB123456 from lib - MYPDS. (Here assume the JCL members with the new name are available in MYPDS).
In the sameway, In current , If job AA123456 triggers AA234567 means,
it should be changed to Job BB123456 triggers BB234567.
Thanks,

You will want to read Chapter 13, Database Transportability, and in particular 13.13.4, Mass Changes at Existing Site, in the CA-7 Database Maintenance Guide manual. |
