I've been working on configuring Endevor for our mainframe environment. I have my environments, systems, subsystems, types and processors built and everything is going pretty well, except for the "LL" (List Listing) feature in the Display panel. I've created the listing libraries, and my processors are writing to them using the CONLIST utility, but when I select "LL" for an element, I get the error message "LIST FILE NOT FOUND".
Can someone tell me where in the Endevor installation/configuration process do you specify what the listing libraries are for a given environment/system? |

You paid for endevor which presumably means support as well - make them earn their keep! |

I figured out the problem, with the help of some clues from my CA Endevor support technician. The reason the listings weren't showing up when I used the "LL" (List Listing) line command was because my generate processor didn't include MONITOR=COMPONENTS on the listing library DD statement (ddname C1LLIBO) that the CONLIST utility was writing the listings to.
Endevor uses Automated Configuration Management (ACM) to know what listings are stored as outputs. Without MONITOR=COMPONENTS being coded on the listing library, ACM didn't know what listings were stored or what library they were stored in.
I hope that helps anyone who may encounter this problem. |
