It basically means that you are a schmuck who cannot be bothered to post in the correct forum.

Does this have anything to do with PL/I or assembler?

NO! It has everything to do with not bothering to open a manual!

Hello and welcome to the forum,

Somethng to be aware of is that posting in the proper part of the forum is quite important for you to receive useful replies.

Carelessly posting "just anywhere" gets few useful replies and often some amount of flamng.

What specifically are you running on the mainframe that fails?

What do you mean by 'the cancel 0127'? Usually on the mainframe a cancel gies a return code Sx22 where the x can tell the savvy (and those that read the manual) why the cancel happened.
