Hi,
at some point of time we had a utility to search a particular string in a Dataset or PDS Members. Upon successfully finding the string, the output would display the found string as well as 'N' number of lines above or below the search string. 'N' was given as a sysin parameter (or may be Parm) to the utility. Does anyone know if such thing exists now ?
Reason why I am asking - i have a requirement to search a string in a PSDS. If the String is found, i need to display next line as well.
Thanks |

It can be both...
First, you have to use LPSF process option.
Then you can use LPSFV process statement if you want to change the default of 6 lines.
This option shows preceding AND following lines.
And no, you can't show only following lines. |
