Hi All,

I have a requirement to read the highest key record from VSAM file and I need to increment that key by 1 and I have to create one more record.

here how to get the last record directly from VSAM KSDS file so that I can do all these things.

You may do a STARBR with key = high-values and then do a readprev. That should give you the key of the last record in the file.
