Anyone have something to share around this subjet?
z/OS System Programmers has installed the new TWS V8R6 for z/OS and I should test and verifiy that everything is ok.

I mostly run several PIF batch jobs to do it, but i`m wondering if there is anything else to test, look, verifiy, modify...etc.

Thanks in advance !

There is some information in the IBM manuals but they are related to the z/OS system programmer profile, not a TWS admin.

Thanks again!

Which version are you migrating from? I know in 8.5.1 the length of the long term plan dataset increases by one byte, so you need to make sure you regenerate the JCL for your long term plan batch jobs.

But of course, if you're already on 8.5.1, you'll have already done that.

You could check the interface between TWS and Netview and SA OS/390
if thats applicable.
