Hi All,

I like to know how to get the Dataset Information - Current Allocation and Utilization? I have tried LISTDSN, but it gives the allocated, extent, primary and secondary details... but current allocation of dataset is not available.
Please let me know the ISREDIT Macro command to get the current allocation and Utilization.

Thanks,
Murali.

What makes you think that there is an ISPF macro 'command' to do this? BTW a macro is a macro not a command.

You could also use the ISPF DSINFO facility.

Use the TSO/E external function LISTDSI available in REXX.

I think DSINFO is better than LISTDSI.
If the dataset is in multiple volumes, LISTDSI would return information only for the first volume.
