•6+ years Cobol 400 (AS/400 – iSeries – i5) development experience •Good experience with advanced skills with COBOL 400 and CL 400 (Command language) and common AS/400 utilities •Good experience in SYNON (AS/400). •Advanced skills with Cobol 400 ,UDB2/400 including schema definition, triggers, stored procedures and optimization of application performance leveraging database management system features •Good experience in writing queries, working with DDS, exposure to DDL. •Advanced skills with application design, modeling and creating proof-of-concept frameworks •Ability to design, develop programs using COBOL 400, Unit test applications. •Create required Design, Unit testing documentation based on given technical specifications. •Good Experience with system integration in an multi-tier application architecture environment •Experience with enterprise-level development, testing, and production support •Support QA, potentially in production deployment for Cobol 400 programs. •Experience collaborating with technical teams and internal/external clients, vendors and partners to ensure reliability, availability, scalability and optimum performance of applications. •Experience in Working remotely with SME's for proceeds with design and development. •Experience collaborating with internal customers and external vendors/partners. •Experience developing and managing collaborative relationships within IT. •Proven ability to produce comprehensive analysis supported by data collection and testing •Exhibits excellent command of English, both orally and written •Exposure to web application integration and FTP development/support
