Option 4 in File-Aid

Hi,

Why is Option 4 missing in file-aid primary menu. Is there any specific reason for it? Or it was there and then decomissioned in some upgraded version?

Thats what it occurred to me first. But why option4. They are using other option 5,6 7,8,9,10 etc. It seems strange.

It could also be an option that is not available to you. Sites can customize File Aid, and it may be that option 4 shows up for system programmers only, for example.

Looking at the IFAMU01 panel, it says that it is no longer a valid option. No idea what it used to be though.

Does anyone remember what option 4 even was?

Let's say it was "ISAM" utilities, it would be easier to just remove that one line than to renumber the rest of the following lines. All of the help screens and manuals would have to be changed if they referenced "Browse VSAM (Option 5.3)"

Option C.3.2.1 (describes File-AID changes from V6 to V8.0.0) indicates option 4 was "Interactive (submit batch File-AID)" and was renumbered to option 3.8.
