Hi,

We have a panel whose device type is not 3270. The device type is TXV1 which is preventing me from editing the map. Error message thrown is 'Invalid device type'.

Could you please tell me how to change the device type to 3270?

You need to contact your CICS System Programmer(s) and/or your Tech Support Group as this involves system-related definitions.

They also need to address if this terminal is "Autoinstalled".

So, leave it up to them as they are the caretakers of this stuff....

Mr. Bill
