abt typerun=jclhold

hi all

i have submitted a job with option typrun=jclhold, but now i want it to run then what i have to do ?
plz help me.

Hi rkr, I suggest you to search before posting because your question is already discussed.

If you submit a job using TYPRUN=HOLD you can activate it going in SDSF and givin a A near the job to run it.

Hi rkr,

if u give TYPRUN=HOLD then the jcl syntax checking will be finished and the out put will be holded in the queue u can release it by typing A or R at the job name

when you use TYPRUN=JCLHOLD, the syntax checking will be done after releasing the job by typing A or R in the queue

please let me know if u have any doubts on it

typerun=jclhold ,will keep the submitted job in the execution queue until it is released by the operater or the default time assigned to the class parameter

hi previously which i gave was for typerun=hold not for typerun=jclhold
