Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what is the deafult port on which Hyperchannel File Transfer takes place..??
(For FTP its 21..whts for Hyperchannel..??)

people dealing with advanced topics should have the basic skills for researching a bit of info themselves

for TCP/IP issues the mother of all knowledge is the RFC archive

if You had cared to google with RFC PORT NUMBERS
You would have found a few links pointing to RFC documents
one of which for example is
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1700.txt
up to You to look yourself for additional info

anyway the topic does not belong to TSO/ISPF

IIRC that port is not defined in the list of well known ports
