Hi,
We have a SAS library which has many members like MEM101, MEM102,..... MEM175. The members are AGED using
Code: |
PROC DATASETS LIBRARY=GENS_BACKUP;
AGE MEM100 MEM101-MEM160 ;RUN; |
The job which AGES the GENS_BACKUP is supposed to run only once, but was run twice accidentally by my error .
Now MEM101 & MEM102 members are duplicates since the job was run twice.
Could you please let me know how to correct this, sort of anti-ageing.
I could deleted MEM101 and rename all the other members, but there are lots of members & similar libraries, so there is a possibilty of error in manual process.
The limit of ageing for the library is 160, and so far there are around 75 members per library. So no members were deleted off as a result of ageing.
Thanks in advance, |

Hi,
Actually I messed up the backup itself. GENS_BACKUP. Still recovering from new year's eve :'(
Fortunately all the data is still there, only the backup names are incremented by 1. |

Just renamed ALL of them manually.
It would be good to know if there is a simple way to do this. |
