Can we convert one sequential mainframe file from VB to FBA format? If yes, how?

| What are you going to use to generate the character for the "A" part, or is it already there in the first position of the VB (or even somewhere else)? |

Yes, it's there in first position of VB file. I am trying with below SORT card
SORT FIELDS=COPY
OUTFIL VTOF,BUILD=(5,133) |
