Hi Friends,
As per the manuals which I have read ,application program can't issue a Delete or Replace call for GSAM files.
Can we delete manually a record from the GSAM file?
When we have a requirement where we need to delete the data from the GSAM file, for example my program reads the GSAM file, take the key value from it use this key value to access the IMS database.. my job has abended because of the bad input record hence got to remove the record from the GSAM file and restart the job.
In this scenareo how to delete the bad record from the GSAM file..
Please advice me..

Is it 3 records you want ot delete of 3 times the same record?
