Hi,
I am sorry to ask such a silly question, but would like to heve a good idea about it.
What is DDM? Is it the view name we mention in our programs?

| Suggest you Google as I just did - first DDM on its own but I did not want Daves Discount Motors so I added natural to the search and second topic synopsis tells you what it is. Go from there... |

For Natural to be able to access a database file, a logical definition of the physical database file is required. Such a logical file definition is called a data definition module (DDM).
In case of Adabas, the physical file definition resides on Adabas FDT, a logical definition i.e. DDM can be created and maintained through PREDICT (data dictionary).
Well, it's not the view name you define in program or under DEFINE DATA statement. |
