As per my repeated observations:
Whenever GET CONTAINER is executed with SET(data-ptr), CICS is holding the data in storage acquired below 16 MB line.
Is it possible to make CICS to hold data in storage above 16 MB line when using SET option? |

| It is because of the transaction definition.This is confirmed by our support personnel.Didnt verify the cause(because transaction definitions cannot be changed) but overcame the issue with a work around. |
