Could any one please tell me the name of the record layout of the CICS CSD file?

Why do you think you want to know this? As far as I know, IBM considers the record layout of the CSD file to be proprietary information, meaning you're not going to find much about it. And since you can do an extract on the CSD to put the entries into a sequential file, why would even care what the reord layout is? |

The best thing you can do is to look at the sample programs supplied by IBM.
Program DFH0FORC shows all formats as received from the EXTRACT command. |

Of course, I recommend accessing the CSD only by way of DFHCSDUP.
(That was implied when I wrote about EXTRACT command) |

AFAIK, it's not even available (and has never been available) as an extra-cost item.
Your only choice is to follow Marso's post.
A heads-up - As of the moment, the supplementary data-areas manual is not available with CICS/TS 4.2, but a group of CICS Sysprogs are lobbying Hursley so, they may release it.
But, don't hold your breath....
