Hey guys, I just want to ask something.

I want to use the Xpediter for my debugging purposes. I searched the web and looked for instructions how to open the xpediter, they said I should type "TSO XPEDITER" then I will go straight to the xpediter menu. But it says "XPEDITER" command not found. Is there any way I can configure the Xpediter and use it?

Thanks in advance. icon_biggrin.gif

Hello,

You need to talk wth whoever supports Xpediter on your system.

Application developers are rarely permitted to do product configuration.

My instructor said TSO Xpediter has already been integrated in our mainframe, I just need to create a jcl that activates it. Am I wrong with this?

He said there are many steps required to be able to use it. I've seen my Team Lead's using it for simulating scenarios and looking for abend and such.

ask/tell your instructor to complete Your training !

and even if it was a forum responsibility to complete Your training, ( wich is not )
nobody here belongs to Your organization, nobody here knows Your standards

anything we might suggest should anyway be reworked according to Your organization standards

so the best source for this kind of information is Your support or Your peers

Why . . . icon_confused.gif

If others are successfully using Xpediter, surely you can learn - it cannot be magic.. Ask the person next to you what they use and make the same for yourself. . .

Giving up so quickly is not a good indicator of a career that will be enjoyable to you for years to come. . .
