Hello All,

I faced a strange behavior by SAVE command/utility, when issued over a VB defined dataset in EDIT mode.

- Open a VB dataset in edit mode, just give a dummy space; Low values i.e Spaces, x'40' will get dropped.

Can anybody explain, if this is obvious to happen.

Hello,

Also, fwiw, "low-values" are NOT spaces/x'40's. . .

As DBZ recommends, read about PRESERVE.
