Use Browse and give the command
with the required code page. It may also be possible to change the screen code page of your emulator. |

Prino, thank you for your reply.
1) What is the required code page i have to verify and what values have to be given after DISPLAY CCSID XXXX.
2) How to change the screen code page of my emulator and if so what values have to be kept.
I am very new to this way so i am asking you with my questions. |

Common EBCDIC code pages include 1047 and 037 -- but those are not the only choices. You need to do some reading up on code pages (hint: Google is your friend), and you might want to contact your site support group for assistance.
You need to review the documentation for your emulator, or contact the vendor, to find out how to change the code page with it. Different emulators use different techniques and what works for one does not work for another. Your site support group should be able to assist you with the emulator, too. |
