Hi,
One of our trans ID is getting abended. while create a new policy in the IXAP trans-ID. program IXAPPG04. I have generated from production to Test channel and modified one of the copy book. and CEMT set prog(IXAPPG04) ne. it has given NORMAL. A019CICS is our Test region.
Error msg "DFHAC2206 02:48:56 A019CICS TRANSACTION IXAP FAILED WITH ABEND 4038. UPDATES TO LOCAL RECOVERABLE RESOURCES BACKED OUT."
Please help for this. |

From the manual -
"Language Environment has encountered a software-raised or user-raised unhandled condition of severity 2 or greater and will terminate".
4038 can be a "Catch-All" abend which can represent many error conditions.
Check DD MSGUSR of the CICS region and look for the actual 4-Byte abend-code, such as ASRA, associated with this transaction-id and program.
