Read Appendix D & E of the TSO/E Rexx Reference manual. It describes the use of the CONSOLE command and how to get command responses.
There is a link at the top of the forum pages.
I am not sure what you mean by 'spool monitoring', but perhaps you would want to use the SDSF REXX API. See redbook SG24-7419.
If you have Netview, there may be other service that you can use. |

Yes, you already said this. . . It is not terminology that is standard or common.
