I want to know is there any way i can know the cost of a query using QMF,SPUFI or File Aid for DB2.
I know while running in QMF they give the cost but i am not sure what is the unit plus for my query, it is being displayed for micro seconds, so i am not able to figure it out. Secondly, can i say if a query takes 2 sec on a table having 100 rows, then it will take 20 sec if number of rows are 1000. |

take a look at the DSN_STATEMENT Table.
it is described in detail in every SQL Reference from vsn 7.
how to create, populate and read using spufi.

sure you can say that, but it displays a lack of understanding of db2
(as well as computers) that can not be improved by a website forum discussion.
suggest that you start reading - google - ibm websites - developerworks, ibm db2 websites.
