Hi

Is there any way to get the current job number (JES2 job number) within
the job? I need this number to be passed on to subsequent steps and COBOL
programs as a parameter. If there is a way to get this information by
calling some APIs from COBOL program it would be fantastic.

Thanks
Ramkumar

I think that Rexx can do this using STORAGE to access to the memory and accept the number of job but I'm not able to do this. In this forum there are other members really expert in this and I think that they can help you more.
Using Cobol I have not idea.

I hope in this help

Check this link for a COBOL method:

The REXX method has been posted here previously.
