Hi Friends,

I am planning to learn IBM Mainframes. Before that i would like to know what r the other languages i should know. I heared that i should know COBOL, C++, C inorder to do IBMMainFrames. Is it true ?

Kalyan,

No.Its not true.COBOL comes under IBM mainframes.To do mainframes,its not necessary that you must know c,c++,etc..If you have some idea about programming language,its well and good.

Programming interest and currency(private course) is enough to do mainframe.
