Facing U0452 in my BMP program and looking for a code fix!

Hi All,

I have got a new BMP program in which I am facing below problem:

1. When i initially submit my job, and it fails with some User abend.

2. then I fix point-1 and reran the job. This time it fails with U0452 and it is bcoz of transaction or the program been stopped.

3. to fix point-2, I start both program and transaction and job went fine.

Here my query is:
I do have some existing programs which are having same type of coding structure as my one is. But, the old BMP programs are running fine with no need of manually starting the PGM/TRANs.

I checked into this forum and did not find any thread in this regard.

Can someone please suggest me what could be the problem here and how I can fix it so that there is no manual interension?

Note: My BMP is a COBOL-IMS with KILL transactions created.

Hello,

Then you have done something different in this new program. . . Might be unintentional, but still different.

As you have control of both sets of code, finding the difference will have to be for someone on your system, i suspect. . .
