Hi,
I spoke with the DBA's on this and got an 'i don't think so'. We are running trial conversions for different months going back from today and the DB2 tables we are using are getting 'refreshed' with PROD data for a fixed day. I thought maybe we could query off of sys1dummy to get the date that new data was loaded in. I do not think we are dropping the table so maybe this approach is a no go. We would like to use that date to get 3 years back worth of some payment history.
No rush and thanks. |

Do you mean the date the test was refreshed ?
It depends on how the refresh is done. if with DSN1COPY (which is the most likely), then you won't find out directly.
in SYSIBM.SYSCOPY history is kept (site dependent on how long) of what happened to that tablespace within DB2.
for example : a ICTYPE = 'R' or 'S' is a LOAD REPLACE.
the rest you can find in the manuals.
as said DSN1COPY is outside DB2, so you won't find that. But after a DSN1COPY other stuff has to happen like REBUILD INDEX, CHECK DATA and/or REPAIR which you can find in SYSCOPY. |
