Can DFSORT or ICETOOL give a non-zero return code if the number of records processed exceed a certain count? For example if more then 5000 records are processed then end with a RC=16.

Please check COUNT operator of ICETOOL.

Jerryte,

Look at the smart DFSORT trick "Set RC of 12, 8 or 4 if file is empty, has more than n records, etc" here

Thanks. I can use COUNT FROM(xxxx) HIGHER(####) to accomplish this.
