Query using Index and partitions

Hi,

The query performance can be increased if we use Index or partitions. I have table with some 100 million records and want to prepare a query so that I can use it whenever needed.

Please can any one suggest me the sample queries, queried using the Indexes and partitions in DB2. TIA

Isn't this a bit vague?
A select is a select.
Whether it uses indexes and partitions depends on the capability of the model-designers and sql-programmers.
