How to send different PARM values based on the any condition to the program in a JCL? For example :- If the time is before 12:00 pm, I want to send "A" to some program and if it past 12:00 pm , I want to send "B" as a PARM value to that program. How to do it thur JCL only? |

You could make this work with a scheduling system such as CA-7. If you can only use JCL, however, see enrico's answer. |

unless as is usually mis-worded around here the TS means ...
use some JCl ( utility program ) to generate the appropriate JCL stream and submit it thru the internal reader |

You could:
1) Imploy a small (very small) REXX program to set a condition code based on the time of day.
2) Create two almost identical steps, the only difference being the PARM.
3) Based on the condition code from the REXX step run one step or the other. |
