Processing PDS members.

Hi

I have a task as below.Could anybody please help. I want to do it using rexx.

I have a PDS with a lot of members. The number of members is not known.. it can very.

I need to create a output file with the member name and number of lines inside that member.

O/P has to be like below.

FILE-NAME RECORD-NUMBER
M1 200
M2 222
M3 189

- Get the member list.
- For each member, allocate and read the member. Count the number of lines. Write the member name and total line count.
- repeat for each member.

Not really a difficult process, and it has been discussed many times before. I'll see if I can find some other topics.
